BoboVR B2 Head Straps – How to Make Your Quest 2 More Comfortable

Virtual reality is a technology that fully immerses the user in a simulated environment using sight, sound and in some cases, touch.

The Bobovr Z4 headset has lenses that are larger than those in entry-level Cardboard viewers and even some of the higher-end ones like the Rift or Playstation VR. The manufacturer claims a field of view of 120 degrees.

VR Headset

Virtual Reality (VR) headsets use a display screen, stereo sound, sensors and compatible controllers to create an immersive audiovisual experience. They allow users to view VR content such as 360-degree videos and games. VR headsets also offer users the ability to interact with the virtual environment using their hands or other controllers.

VR headsets are designed to fit over a user’s head, covering the eyes and surrounding them with a cushioned fabric or plastic. They use a combination of gyroscopes and accelerometers to track head movements and reposition the display. Some headsets also feature eye-tracking sensors that help to detect when the user’s gaze is focused on a specific point in the VR space.

The Bobovr headset is light and comfortable to wear. Its cushioned head strap and adjustable nose piece help reduce pressure around the face and eyes. The headset can be used with any brand or model smartphone with a screen size up to 6.5 inches. It can be purchased with or without headphones. The version with headphones weighs 15 ounces, while the one without weighs 11 ounces.

One of the first things that you’ll notice about the headset is its large lenses. These dwarf the lenses in entry-level Cardboard viewers and are larger than those of the 2016 version of the Gear VR. The manufacturer claims that the Z4’s lenses have a field of view of 120 degrees.

The headset connects to a smartphone via a stereo plug on the left side of the frame. The plug has a receptacle to hold the phone when it’s not in use. The stereo headphones are comfortable and offer good audio quality. The 40mm earphone diaphragms deliver immersive stereo sound, and the one-key volume control works well.

The Bobovr headset offers a wide variety of apps and virtual worlds, including augmented reality games. You can even play with friends and family in real-time. You can also use the headset to watch movies and TV shows or listen to music. It’s a great way to experience VR for an affordable price. It’s a must-have for any serious gamer or movie lover.

Head Strap

If you’re looking for a way to make your Quest 2 even more comfortable while playing, it’s worth checking out some of the best head straps available. A good strap isn’t just about how thick the padding is, but where it’s located and whether or not it actually alleviates headset weight on your head and face. There are a lot of straps on the market that claim to do this, but the best ones are designed to avoid contact with your ears altogether and cradle the back of your head instead.

There are a lot of options out there, but the best one we’ve found so far is from KIWI Design. Their version takes the best design cues from both the elite and halo straps and makes them work together to create an incredibly comfortable and usable strap. It also uses a different construction method that’s significantly sturdier than Meta’s official Elite strap and is built to withstand more tension.

KIWI Design also has an upgrade option to turn this head strap into a battery-compatible model. It costs a little more ($40 on KIWI’s site or $36 on Amazon) but is well worth the extra cost for the added convenience and comfort. Having a battery on your head while playing is much more convenient than having to deal with a power bank and it doubles the amount of time you can spend in-game before the headset starts running out of charge.

There are a lot of head straps out there that claim to do this as well, but most of them are made from cheap plastic and don’t feel like they will hold the headset on your head for more than five minutes at a time. Those that do have an external battery holder tend to be bulky and don’t have very good designs overall. We tested a few and were really disappointed, but there’s one out there that we recommend: the GeekVR M2 Pro head strap. It’s not only unbelievably comfortable for long gaming sessions, but it also has a modular battery pack design that lets you easily attach and remove your power bank when needed.

Battery

With a 5200 mAh capacity, the BoboVR B2 battery can extend your VR experience by 2.5 to 3 hours, making it possible to fully immerse yourself in virtual reality without having to recharge. It can be easily attached to the head strap using a magnetic snap, and it weighs just 140 grams so you won’t notice it while wearing the headset.

The dock and two B2 batteries can be used to achieve a recirculating power supply system, which eliminates the need to remove the headset to charge the battery during gaming sessions. It also improves battery life and reduces surface pressure on the face and head to ensure comfort. The battery can also be changed while playing, which is a convenient feature for long gaming sessions.
