Virtual world shenshen

Kyubi do Mundo Virtual world Shenshen is the main Level 9 Synchro monster for this Deck, as it can search its members in the GY. It also has an on-field effect to return a card sent to the GY during your opponent’s attack to their owner’s Deck.

This is an essential card in this archetype, allowing for many plays. For example, it can be used to Special Summon Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon from your Extra Deck with Virtual World City – Kauwlon and Laolao.

Qinglong

Virtual World Shenshen is a deck often played for its solid toolbox of Synchros and Xyz monsters. One of its best cards is Qinglong, a Rank 9 Synchro monster that lets you Special Summon a level 3 or higher Virtual World monster from your graveyard as long as it isn’t the same card type as what’s currently on the field or in the GY.

This is an excellent option for the Deck since it’s easy to have multiple Level 3 and lower monsters out by turn 2 or 3. Lulu, Hime-Nyannyan, and Chuche can be used to summon these monsters and set up the field. You can also use Qinglong to call itself by sending two copies of him to the graveyard from your Deck.

The Deck is also well-stocked with spells and traps. Virtual World City – Kauwloon can be activated to get Gate – Qinglong into your GY on the activation phase of your turn, and its other effects are excellent in niche situations.

Another significant effect is Virtual World Dragon – Longlong, which can be Xyz Summoned with two or more Level 3 monsters. It has a decent 2400 ATK backed by a monster negate, and can be detached to balance a monster your opponent controls during the damage calculation phase. It can also be banished to add a Virtual World monster from your Deck to your hand.

Lulu

Virtual worlds have been popular in mainstream pop culture since 1999 when the special effects extravaganza sci-fi film The Matrix reaped $460 million at the box office. These virtual worlds have since expanded into various applications, including teaching classrooms, dating, and online business. However, educators and technology insiders have also debated the concept of virtual worlds.

“Virtual World Shenshen” (Dian denNoy nouJie kai Dennokai) is an archetype of Synchro Monsters consisting of EARTH Wyrm non-Tuner and WIND Psychic Tuner members. All members of this archetype are humanoid in appearance, and they have designs that blend a mythological animal with a sleek cybernetic look. They can also be used to prevent Graveyard triggers that require cards to be sent from the field to activate, such as True King of All Calamities and Phantom Fortress Enterblathnir.

During your Main Phase, except during the turn in which this card was sent to the graveyard, you can evolve one monster from your hand to the cemetery: Summon any number of other “Virtual World” monsters with original Tipos and Attributes from your Deck, ignoring their Summoning costs. You can use this “Mai-Hime del Mundo Virtual – Lulu” effect only once per turn.

Nyannyan

If a Virtual World Shenshen monster is sent to the GY, this card can be banished to Special Summon any card from your Deck with the same type and attribute as that card. It can be a great support card to help you escape sticky situations like Qinglong and Lulu. Its on-field effect is decent and can be a good pressure tool if it survives long enough to cut. Virtual World Phoenix – Fanfan is another Level 6 Synchro with some proper support.

It can be used as a Rank 9 play and is very aggressive with two materials to target a face-up monster your opponent controls or in their GY, banish them both, and upon being destroyed by battle, Special Summon a pair of Virtual World Shenshen monsters from your Deck with matching type and attributes.

Chuche is another of the more interesting cards in this set. Its main effect is allowing you to search for any card that is not a monster or trap in your hand. This can help bring out the level 7 or higher Synchro plays in this Deck, especially since it also has a second graveyard effect that allows you to search for any banished card and shuffle it into your Deck. Each of these effects can be used once per turn.

Church

Virtual World Shenshen cards emphasize banishing and special summoning from the hand while sending monsters and spell and trap cards to the graveyard. This helps them swarm the field and set up their Synchro and Xyz monster plays. However, the archetype can be complex on cards, requiring the same effect to function.

One such card is Chuche, which returns two face-up banished Virtual World cards with the same name to the Deck. It also has a decent Graveyard effect that allows you to target a Virtual World monster and change its level or rank. Chuche works well with Lulu and Kauwloon to set up their combos fully, especially with Shenshen.

Another key card in the Virtual World archetype is Kyubi Mondo Virtuale – Shenshen, a generic Level 9 Synchro monster with multiple effects. While on the field, he can negate all face-up monster effects and prevent opponents from removing your cards. He also has a good Graveyard effect that lets you banish two different Virtual World monsters with the same original type and attribute to add them to your hand.

Other tech cards for the Virtual World archetype include Wind Psychic and Earth Wyrm, which can help increase your monsters’ ATK. They also have effects that let you Special Summon more cards from the Deck, and they work well with Qinglong and Nyannyan.

Laolao

Virtual World is an archetype that requires a face-up card for Synchro and XYZ summoning and plays around the graveyard. The deck is unforgiving if you make mistakes, so play sequencing is critical to this one. Virtual World Kyubi – Shenshen is the main boss in this archetype and is a powerful yet recursive monster.

This WIND Psychic and EARTH Wyrm monster looks like an animal robot with a sleek, cybernetic design. Its artwork is similar to that of the WIND monsters from Phantom Rage. It has a strong effect allows it to summon itself once per turn. It also has an effect that lets you revive a monster from your graveyard if it is destroyed by battle.

Laolao is another great monster for the Deck. It searches you for another Virtual World card in your Deck, as long as it isn’t the same card type as the card you targeted on the field or sent to the graveyard with Laolao. This card is a Level 6 Tuner.

Virtual World Hime – Nyannyan is an excellent searcher that allows you to Special Summon any Virtual World card in your hand, and it also has an effect that prevents the target monster’s effects from activating until the end of your turn. The Deck’s main support card is Virtual World City – Kauwloon, which can search for any card in your GY and put it in the Spell & Trap Zone – bypassing cards such as Denko Sekka.

Toutou

The idea of virtual worlds became a significant part of mainstream pop culture in 1999 with the release of the special-effects extravaganza sci-fi film The Matrix. Comedy Central’s South Park even parodied it in an episode of Season 10. The underlying concept is a simulated environment that allows users to interact with other players and create their avatars, or representations of themselves, in the virtual world.

A card from the Virtual World Gate archetype, Toutou is a Level 9 Psychic Wind/Monster with 2800/2400 attack and defence. This monster has a lot of utility and fits the theme, especially with its ability to return a monster removed from play to its owner’s Deck. This is particularly helpful in this Deck and can make it difficult for your opponent to destroy your monsters by battle.

Toutou also has an effect that can banish any card that was sent from your field to your Graveyard, which is excellent for keeping your GY clean. It can also prevent monster effects from affecting what you want to do with your cards, which is helpful in avoiding pesky monsters from disrupting your plan. The only downside to this card is that you can only use its effects once per turn. Fortunately, this is only a minor hiccup in an otherwise solid card.
